Booking, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

At Family Bond LLC, we are committed to providing professional, confidential, and dependable service with every appointment. To ensure timely scheduling and proper preparation, the following booking and cancellation policies apply to all services.

Booking and Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking unless other arrangements have been approved in advance. Certain services, including mobile appointments, same-day scheduling, after-hours appointments, and specialty collections, may require additional fees. Appointments are not considered confirmed until all required booking information has been received and any applicable payment has been made.

When required, clients must provide valid government-issued identification and complete all necessary consent or authorization forms before services can be performed. Failure to provide required documentation may result in delays, rescheduling, or cancellation of the appointment.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be flexible whenever possible. However, because appointments often involve travel, preparation time, reserved scheduling, and, in some cases, laboratory coordination, the following cancellation fees apply:

More than 48 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee
24 to 48 hours’ notice: $25 administrative fee
Less than 24 hours’ notice: $35 late cancellation fee
Same-day cancellation: $50 fee
No-show appointments: $50 fee plus any applicable travel charges already incurred

If a mobile provider has already departed for the appointment location, the full travel fee will still apply, even if the appointment is canceled before arrival.

Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are non-refundable once an appointment has been confirmed or service preparation has begun:

Same-day service fees
Travel or mobile service fees
After-hours service fees
Laboratory processing fees
Specialty collection or kit fees

Refunds will not be issued for missed appointments, client no-shows, incomplete required documents, failure to present valid identification, or situations where the client is unavailable at the agreed-upon appointment time.

Late Arrival

Clients are expected to be available and ready at the scheduled appointment time. Excessive lateness may result in a shortened appointment, rescheduling, or additional fees. If a client is significantly late and the appointment cannot be completed as scheduled, it may be treated as a same-day cancellation or no-show.

Mobile Service Terms

For mobile appointments, clients must provide a safe, appropriate, and private location for services to be completed. Family Bond LLC reserves the right to refuse, stop, or reschedule services if the environment is unsafe, unsuitable, or does not allow for proper privacy, specimen integrity, or professional working conditions.

Policy Acknowledgment

By booking services with Family Bond LLC, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these booking, cancellation, and refund terms.
